The quadriceps muscles in the front of the thigh and the biceps muscles in the back contract and relax to perform knee flexion and extension activities. The quadriceps, gluteus maximus and hamstring muscles play a major role in the extension and flexion of the hip joint.
Each action is 40 seconds by default and can be increased or decreased according to your physical condition.
